Episode 2:  The Wagon

Ever since the Boy Scouts sponsored our Cub Cadet Lawnmower on the neighborhood racing circuit, other sponsors have noticed that I am a talented driver.  They've been sending other cars for me to test drive.  Of course I don't mind, but unless they come with something that has more than the 13 horsepower of the Cub, I'm not interested.  I did take time to try the Fisher Price sponsored Red Wagon.  Its a little tighter in the corners than I like and doesn't have a good suspension setup for our back yard.  But, if I decide to take on road racing, this will be my choice, at least until something faster comes along.

Since I'm getting bigger, things are starting to really pick up for me.  I can stand on my own 2 feet, pick up and throw just about anything, and go just about any place I want.  With that in mind, I'm starting a new storybook here that will keep everyone up to date on

Episode 1:  The Lawnmower

We got a new lawnmower from Aunt Amy & Papa David.  It is COOOOL.  My Dad says it'll cut the grass as fine as the hair on a frog's back.  I told him frog's ain't got no hair, but I guess they didn't teach that in school when he was little.  I have so much to teach him.  Anyway, the lawnmower . . well I think its just a small race car like I've seen on TV.  We only have one sponsor, something called Cub Cadet.  I don't know why the Boy Scouts are sponsoring out lawnmower race car, but we're a new team and I guess we have to work our way up to the bigger sponsors.  Ok, on to my adventure . . . THEY LET ME RIDE IT !!!  Woah . .how cool am I !?!?!  At first, it was a little fast, but then once I got used to it, I hope we go faster next time.
  We went so fast this time, it blew my hair back !  Woo Hoo !

 

Little Boy Bluebonnets

Last night they made me sit in some blue weeds and took my picture.  I guess I had fun cause I sure look happy in this picture my dad took.  Handsome, huh !

Monkey See, Monkey Do !

Ok this was a once in a lifetime opportunity, and thanks to my Dad, we got it on film.  We went to the zoo last Sunday.  It was a great time.  I got to see zebras, giraffes, elephants, hippos, gorillas, and the rest of the zoo gang.  On our way out I saw another baby and its mama playing in a window.  When I got closer, I realized that it was a Chimpanzee baby, not a human baby, like me.  Well, in case you don't remember, babies of all types are friends.  As you can see from this picture my dad took, my friend the chimp came to the glass to say hi.  His mom wouldn't let him hang around long, but we got our picture together anyway. 

Gone Fishin'

Ok, I've been waiting for this for a long time (7 months, 25 days) and today it happened....My Dad took me FISHING !!!  Wow . .was it fun! Mommy strolled me around a park while Daddy caught me a fish.  I didn't actually get to fish, cause I'm too darn small, but I did get to TOUCH some fish !  We caught a bass, a crappie (funny name) and a blue gill.

We're baaaack...

Back from Snowy Colorado.  I had a great time on my first vacation.  I rode in a plane, drove in a van, and slid down a hill in a tube !  It was great.  Here are some pics of my trip..

Don't Eat the Yellow Snow

Today, I'm leaving for the mountains.  We're going to Beaver Creek, CO for a snowboard trip.  I don't actually get to ride this year, but I'm gonna be taking notes on how to do it.  The trip marks several firsts for me.  First time to the airport, first time on a plane, first time out of state, first time in a hotel, and first time laughing at my dad when he falls, cause he thinks he can snowboard pretty good.  We're going with Grammy & Grandpa, Sissy, & Granny Jill.  Papa David has school (isn't he too old for school?) so he can't go this time.  I'm not sure why you can't eat yellow snow, but I always do what I'm told, so it won't be a problem.  Maybe someone can explain it to me later.  Bon Voyage !

Happy Happy Half a Birthday to Me !

I'm half a year old today !  Happy Half a Birthday to ME!  Can you believe its been 6 whole months since I started this crazy little thing called life ?  It seems like just yesterday I was the size of a pea and swimming around in mommy's tummy.  Now, I have to sleep in my own bed, eat peas and carrots, and ride facing backwards in the car when we go places.  Its nuts, I tell ya!  I'm glad that I'm getting closer to being able to move around on my own.  I'm looking forward to more independence.  This stage of not being able to get around when I want is a little frustrating.  Hopefully in a few weeks I'll be crawling, and then walking soon.  I'm thinking my dad wants to get me into a soccer game soon, so I better get going if I'm gonna score any goals!  I don't know too much about sports yet, so I don't want to lock myself into anything before I can even walk.  Who knows I might want to be a race car driver, an astronaut, or even a TV star.  I can't even decide which pacifier I like best, so I'm sure not going down the career path yet.  I've got plenty of time to make those big decisions.  Maybe when I turn 1 year old, I'll let you know what college I'm going to....OH, wait....my Dad already decided that for me...Gig 'Em !
