I can't count yet, but I do know that it has rained at my house for a LOT of days in a row.  Since May 1st, we've had almost 10 inches of rain.  My dad says that's bad for the fishing and the golf, but its good for kids who want to get outside and splash around a bit.  On Wednesday when my dad got home, he took me out to do just that.  The water was RAGING down our street and I carefully stepped in.  If you've been following, you know we have sponsors for our mower that would not be too happy about the risk I took.  I am not supposed to do anything to jeapordize my contract and ability to cut the grass.  But I said what the heck and jumped right in.  The water was cool, and the concrete slippery.  I didn't care cause I'm so sure footed.  We splashed for about 15 minutes until Mommy came out and got us for dinner.  Photos by you know who...

Episode 2:  The Wagon

Ever since the Boy Scouts sponsored our Cub Cadet Lawnmower on the neighborhood racing circuit, other sponsors have noticed that I am a talented driver.  They've been sending other cars for me to test drive.  Of course I don't mind, but unless they come with something that has more than the 13 horsepower of the Cub, I'm not interested.  I did take time to try the Fisher Price sponsored Red Wagon.  Its a little tighter in the corners than I like and doesn't have a good suspension setup for our back yard.  But, if I decide to take on road racing, this will be my choice, at least until something faster comes along.

Since I'm getting bigger, things are starting to really pick up for me.  I can stand on my own 2 feet, pick up and throw just about anything, and go just about any place I want.  With that in mind, I'm starting a new storybook here that will keep everyone up to date on

The New Adventures of Connor Smith
Episode 1:  The Lawnmower

We got a new lawnmower from Aunt Amy & Papa David.  It is COOOOL.  My Dad says it'll cut the grass as fine as the hair on a frog's back.  I told him frog's ain't got no hair, but I guess they didn't teach that in school when he was little.  I have so much to teach him.  Anyway, the lawnmower . . well I think its just a small race car like I've seen on TV.  We only have one sponsor, something called Cub Cadet.  I don't know why the Boy Scouts are sponsoring out lawnmower race car, but we're a new team and I guess we have to work our way up to the bigger sponsors.  Ok, on to my adventure . . . THEY LET ME RIDE IT !!!  Woah . .how cool am I !?!?!  At first, it was a little fast, but then once I got used to it, I hope we go faster next time.
  We went so fast this time, it blew my hair back !  Woo Hoo !
