Ok ok so I've been a little busy and I haven't written. What are you gonna do? I'm 1 year old and I'm too cute to be mad at! But I do have some updates for all of you.
First, Christmas was soooo fun. I love the tree, the stockings, the lights, but I REALLY liked the presents! Santa brought me lots of great stuff, but he brought me one AWESOME thing... The Kawasaki 4-Wheeler! WOW! Here I am on Christmas morning riding it for the first time! Its so FAST!
I also learned to do a few new things. I don't think mommy and daddy are really thrilled with them, but they are so much fun, I don't care. I learned that if I get on the side of the bed and put my foot on the bed rail in just the right place, I can climb right up on mommy and daddy's bed. Its really high up and I can watch the TV like I'm in a movie theater !
I also learned that Scout is my new best friend. He likes it when I get in the crates with him. Its like a little fort in there and I love hanging out with him.
I have a couple of new words I can say. The first is "Stink". If you haven't heard me say this, then you probably haven't smelled anything bad around me. If I think I smell anything "funny", I'll let you know by saying "STINK" and holding my nose! I can also say STUCK, which I use regularly when I get stuck between the bed and the chair when I'm trying to climb on the bed. And I learned to say CHEESE by watching Sesame Street. Some kids were getting their pictures made and they were saying "CHEEEESE". And since my daddy is always taking my picture, I thought that would be a useful word to know.
Speaking of pictures, here are some more in case you haven't seen me lately. Love, Connor.

Hey Connor David Smith,
You have the smartest parents I know. Guess what? They don't give mommies and daddies books about how to be a mom and dad. But they sure are doing a wonderful job of raising you and teaching you what to do and what NOT to do.
I saw you this weekend and you have more energy than the entire Highland Park Football team had when they played state December 22, 2007!
It takes someone special to keep up with your every move and I asked your daddy how he does it! He says mommy spends most of the days with you 'cause he works far away. I think all the years she spent in college and all of the training she has done with the puppies she has helped her a lot because boy does she have a lot of patience. Training doggies is hard, hard work and you really have to be in shape. Right now, I'm not very good at it in class but we're doing really well at home when we are alone.
I hope you learn to say mommy and dada pretty soon. Because those are the two most important words you will ever learn because I believe in "family forever" and still take my mom and dad lunch twice a week. You're going to be the best in sports and you'll always want to say "HI MOM!" 'cause she's going to be the one who gives you a nice clean uniform to wear every game!!!
So I bet you learn a lot of stuff at home too. I wish you did not live so far away. My boys have left home and all I have to keep me company is my puppy that I named Maverick. When I first got him, he kind of had a mind of his own. It reminded me of the movie "TOP GUN" because one of the pilots kind of did things HIS WAY. So it seemed like a perfect name for my puppy and he has the same colors of the original Maverick. We hope it is accepted as an honor to your puppy that you lost last year.
I actually got to catch you once this weekend when you were playing in the back of her big old truck! I call it a truck 'cause it's pretty big and it's very safe for all of you to ride in. Mommy and daddy bought the best ride on wheels!
I talk to your dad a lot and here is an Email between us that I think is special so I saved it for you. Your dad sent it to me:
Hey TN, (March 25, 2008)
Nice one there when you get big print orders of action sports. That's why i like weddings and portraits. BIGGER $$$ . . The job I did Saturday was a one hour shoot. And Friday I took pictures of some dogs for an hour.
HERE'S THE BEST PART:
Thanks to you for appreciating Angie. I do too and love her and Connor more than anything, Chandler too. . .she's is SO, So smart. CDS
So Connor, as you can see a lot of people love you, your mom, your dad and your sister. I don't think I've ever seen so much love in one family in my life and hey bud-I'm 51 years old now!
I tell everyone that your family is the perfect poster family all together in one BIG HOUSE!
Love ya dude,
Tracy Wayne
